A movable wall plays an important role in the fabric of your building, whether it’s to generate business through the letting of rooms, acoustic separation for private meeting areas or to assist in the utilisation of space.
Routine inspection and servicing protect a moveable wall’s longevity, acoustic integrity and ease of use. Regular servicing also ensures compliance to Health and Safety at work Act 1974 which include, but not limited to, Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER). Regulatory Compliance

It is therefore important that your movable or sliding folding walls and partitions are serviced regularly and maintained to the highest possible standards to avoid unnecessary repair bills, accidents and to ensure that your organisation meets these obligations.
CMW has a service plan to ensure you comply with H&S and to reduce the risks of an accident or breakdowns.
Poor Maintenance
Lack of regular maintenance results in failures, some can be catastrophic and resulting in death with panels falling from the tracks. Lack of maintenance can have serious repercussions and is a failure of statutory H&S law.
We recommend at a minimum servicing annually increasing to up to 3 times a year dependent upon frequency of usage and system type, some systems are built better than others and some system types are better suited to more frequent use, we will be able to advise after the first service.
